The Tactical Shotgun Operations course is an intensive day long course designed for shooters who are comfortable firing 200-250 rounds of shotgun ammunition in one day and who want to learn to use the shotgun effectively in a tactical manner- whether for competition or defense. The course will require a minimum of 200 rounds of #8 birdshot and 20 low recoil slugs. The course will consist of a short safety briefing followed by four hours of range drills in the following areas:
Tactical loading techniques
Stance and Recoil Management
Moving and shooting
Engaging Multiple Targets
Use of Cover
Select Slug Drills
Putting it all together/Qualification Drill
