Intro to Handgun Safety


This course is desinged for individuals with very limited experience shooting handguns that is interested in learning how to safely and accurately use a handgun for recreational targets shooting. This course will also prepare the shooter who is interested in using a handgun for defense to take the Defensive Handgun One course. The focus of this course is range and home safety, developing an understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship, and learning how to use dry fire practice to increase shooting ability. Students will have the opportunity to fire up to 50 rounds of ammunition with an instructor’s assistance at the end of the course. This couse is 4 hours long and limited to 8 shooters. Cost is $125.00.

Equipment Provided: Gun Rental/ Targets/ eye and ear protection. Ammunition is not included and must be purchased through Sharp Shooters USA when using a Sharp Shooters USA firearm.
