Family Firearm Safety –
A Free Course in Firearms Safety,
Specifically for Families
with Young Children

Statistics show that there is a gun in approximately half of all American households. This means that even if you do not own a gun, the chances of your child encountering a firearm at a friend or relative’s house is significant. We offer this fun and informative course at no charge as a way to train parents and children in our community how to safely and appropriately interact with firearms if or when they come into contact with them.

The 4 Basic Rules Of Gun Safety:

1. Always treat firearms like they are loaded. Always.
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Always keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
4. Always be certain of your target and what’s beyond it.
